In 2016 Aireka's son was pretty upset about missing the chance to experience the new waterpark that opened in Murfreesboro. Taunted by the videos and pictures on Snapchat that his friends were sharing he ran to his mom and asked "Mom did you know that a new waterpark opened in Murfreesboro?" Aireka asked around and learned that only a few friends knew about it but did not share their knowledge on social media. She talked to a few local businesses and learned they were feeling ignored by the advertising industry. That's when she decided to build a program that would reward consumers for sharing local business information on social media. Thus, Nodat was born. After building some traction with downloads, Aireka left her full-time career as a customer loyalty specialist at AT&T to work on building the company full-time. She is now working with her first investment fund Beta Boom to prove product market fit on a new and improved version of Nodat.
